MEET BAS
Bas Warmerdam is a strategy and organizational consultant who founded ConsultingKids ten years ago. He is a sought-after keynote speaker, author, and facilitates workshops for teams in organizations, at conferences, and symposia around the world.
Bas works with small and large groups, ranging from five to over five hundred+ professionals at all levels of an organization, helping them “play” with their (organizational) challenges—no matter how complex! He delivers keynotes and workshops under the theme “Thinking Like a Child”, which incorporates the methods outlined in his book. His sessions are known for their humor, interaction, inspiration, and a fresh, informal style, and are appreciated by a broad audience, from seasoned executives to junior project staff.
Through his company ConsultingKids, Bas collaborates with his colleagues across six countries, working with larger groups of little consultants (ages 9-12) to tackle complex organizational challenges. In addition, we introduce children to proven strategies from top consultancy firms and leading management books, but tailor-made for their experience.
Bas has got a degree in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University in the Netherlands and conducted research in gene therapy and comparative genetics in London. He completed his Executive MBA at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, enriched with international experiences at the University of Hong Kong and the University of Johannesburg.
Bas lives with his family in the Netherlands. In his free time, he enjoys the company of friends and neighbors, making music, and coaching an under-15 girls’ soccer team. He also loves traveling and has a passion for stand-up comedy.
